In today’s world, it is incredibly important to live label free. Labeling is a way of putting people into boxes and limiting them to what society expects of them. We are so much more than what society tells us we should be, and it is important to break free from these labels and live a life that is true to ourselves. This is the message behind Deanna Radulescu’s Label Free Podcast. Deanna brings in incredible guests from all walks of life to discuss the importance of living label free. One of her guests is Ken Stearns, a writer, lyricist, photographer, and podcast creator. Ken traded his suit in for a van and started his own traveling podcast called The Jar. The concept of the show is to ask people 444 questions from a book that Ken wrote. The questions cover topics such as the past, present, and future, how to deal with other people, karma, love, and service, and faith, hope, and prayer. Ken believes that these questions bring out the human side of people and allow us to connect in a special way. He does all of his interviews in person, meeting with people in restaurants, bars, and even randomly on the street. He believes that the connection is much stronger when it is done in person, and that people can see that it is more powerful through the video portion of it. It is important to live label free because we are so much more than what society tells us we should be. By breaking free from these labels, we can live a life that is true to ourselves. Ken’s podcast is a great example of how we can do this by having conversations with people from all walks of life and connecting in a special way.
