The LA Galaxy beat Real Salt Lake 2-0 at home on Saturday, May 31, to snap their 16-match unbeaten run to start their 2025 MLS campaign and breathe life into their season. It was a night of firsts for LA, as Novak Micovic led the Galaxy defense with four saves to earn his first career win and shutout. Other firsts on the night involved Lucas Sanabria getting his first goal, and Matheus Nascimento’s first assist in the league.
