The LA Galaxy ended preseason at the CVI by losing their undefeated invitational record at after losing to the Chicago Fire 1-0 on Saturday, February 15, despite several good chances and controlling large parts of the game. Greg Vanney started a strong starting 11, which included Novak Micovic beginning the match at goal and a first start for Lucas Sanabria in the midfield. The lineup saw Christian Ramirez get more game time for LA and Marco Reus’ played his first minutes of the year in his bid to get healthy and be ready for the start of the season. Plus, the Galaxy plays its first match of the MLS season in less than a week!
