To start, you’re a busy guy who has written so many kinds of stories, and with Pine and Merrimac out in January I’m curious, how long has this story been kicking around in your head?I love a wife guy. Any chance we’ll see more of their first case together?Fran Galan’s art is spectacular, the use of color so great, what would you say the visual “vibe” is for the series?Do you have any favorite detective stories, be it comics, movies, or TV?There’s a missing persons case in the first issue, how much research goes into real-life cases to know you’ve got the right angle on a mystery?Maybe it’s because it’s the end of the year and end-of-year lists are coming out, but I need to ask: have you played Alan Wake 2, the year's best detective video game?Back in October, you wrapped up Peacemaker tries hard. With six issues under your belt, do you feel like you understand the character even better? You’re also writing a Wild Dog story that kicked off in Batman: The Brave and the Bold #7, the first chapter has such great cadence and pace, what makes Wild Dog so fun to write? If detective agency Pine and Merrimac had to take on a case with Peacemaker OR Wild Dog, would they take it?
