What an amazing time we had at the Juneteenth celebration in Charlotte North Carolina on June 19th; The University City Partners and local organizers and stakeholders led by Davena brought out people from everywhere to reflect, lime, eat and have a great time as we continue the work to overcome injustice and discrimination and promote freedoms for all.We interview several vendors. residents, organizers, and captured some of the performances, poets who inspired us.
