Starting at the age of nine, his early fascination with filmmaking saw him creating short films and mastering visual effects. His dedication and talent earned him the Best Visual Effects award at the All-American High School Film Festival, chosen from 4,000 entrants, along with a full-ride scholarship which he declined to pursue filmmaking full-time right out of high school. He gained diverse industry experience by working at 2K Games on creative commercial editing and production for video game titles, and directing music videos and overseeing album rollouts in the music industry. Two years ago, he joined Astranis, a satellite startup with a mission to provide affordable internet to underserved populations. There, he crafted a compelling visual brand and documented the transformative impact of technology in remote areas, sparking his love for deep tech. A year ago, Jason launched his ambitious project "S³," where he produced 52 documentaries in a year, highlighting deep tech companies shaping the future. Without any marketing, he grew an audience of 60,000 passionate viewers who craved more optimistic content about deep tech.
