Jan Akkerman is a Superstar Dutch guitarist who has been praised by some of the world’s greatest guitarists including Brian May, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Steve Vai and Al Di Meola. In 1973 Jan was voted the World’s Best Guitarist by the readers of Melody Maker. He first reached international prominence as a member of Focus.
