In today’s episode, I talk with Charlene Gisele, a Burnout Advisor, about how to notice if you’re experiencing burnout, how to take care of it and how to prevent it from happening again or ever. Charlene shares her story about going from being a high-paced lawyer to a Burnout Advisor by having no sense of boundaries, saying no to self care, experiencing chronic anxiety, stress, and insomnia, and watching her dad go through a close to death moment due to burnout. Do you feel your body is sending you signals, but you aren’t listening because you don’t have the time? Charlene tells us that the signals get louder if we’re not listening, urges us to not wait for a life or death moment to slow down, and explains why alignment is so important when navigating these experiences.
