Inspired by the shocking reality of food waste, Giuseppe eventually gave the UK food industry a second go, and created a health snacks line using “wonky” produce, along with co-founder Claudio Owusu. A financial grant from Shell Energy of £5,000 and early success in the Supermarkets spelled the beginning of eventual success for Gusto Snacks.
