Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, takes a look at the impact world-renowned pop singer, Taylor Swift, is having on generations of young people. The lyrics to her songs are vulgar and mock God and Christians. It is one thing to expose young people to lyrics that are different than what Christians believe, but it is another thing to expose them to lyrics that actually mock what Christians believe. Dr. Hall acknowledges that many Christians and their children listen to Swift’s music and uses this fact to ask what true Christians are. Dr. Hall argues that God does not actually want us to be good but is calling us to be much more. It is pointed out that being a good person is not what gets you to heaven. Dr. Hall discusses how all Christians are called to make disciples and that means we must talk to others about Jesus.
