Today we’re getting Under the Hood with Gila Tolub a mother, daughter, sister, women’s advocate and a French-Israeli strategy and management expert with two decades of experience, including 12 years at McKinsey & Company, where she co-led the Vaccine and Health Equity practices. She brings deep expertise in systems change, innovation, and trauma-informed approaches across global health and social impact sectors. Following October 7th, Gila served as interim director of Merhav Marpe, supporting Nova survivors and advising funders on trauma response—work that led her to create ICAR Collective, a platform advancing mental health equity and systems-level resilience in Israel. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is passionate about mentoring women leaders and strengthening communities through healing and growth.
