Thomas Roberts - Recognising Mistakes
Thomas Roberts is an Emmy Award winning journalist and broadcaster, who was an evening anchor for CBS46, Atlanta. He had a seven-year stint anchoring MSNBC Live, the daytime news platform of NBC News. Previously, he was the anchor of Way Too Early and a contributor on Morning Joe. He was also an NBC News correspondent and a fill-in anchor on Today and NBC Nightly News. He has also served as a correspondent for CBS News and has contributed to several entertainment shows including “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider.” Prior to that, he was a news anchor for CNN Headline News covering topics such as the Iraq War, the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia disaster and more. Thomas also hosted the Miss Universe pageant in 2013. Thomas has been honored for his work as an advocate in the LGBT community, and is the recipient of the prestigious Visibility Award from the Human Rights Campaign in October 2011. He was also honored by the Stonewall Community Foundation, Marriage Equality USA and The National Crime Victim Bar Association.
