FREE Youth Filmmaking Workshop Series August 5-8

Send us a text These workshops are for young film-lovers and young filmmakers interested in filmmaking. Learn every aspect of filmmaking with professional filmmakers. These workshops will help you to develop and create a short, narrative or documentary which you are welcome to submit to our Wellfleet Youth Film Festival by August 22nd. This year the 7th Annual Wellfleet Youth Film Festival takes place on Friday August 29th! It"s open to youth filmmakers from all over from ages 10-18, some classes are better suited for teens. TUESDAY August 5th 10am-1pm STORYBOARDING & SCREENWRITING with Mick Thyer 1:30-4:30pm CRASH COURSE IN CREATING A STORY with Paul Schuyler WEDNESDAY August 6th 10am-1pm ACTING AND DIRECTING with Mick Thyer 1:30-4:30pm DOCUMENTARY BASICS with Michael Koehler (recommended for teens) THURSDAY August 7th 10am-1pm CAPTURING IMAGES TO TELL A STORY IN PHOTOS & FILM with Mischa Richter 1:30-2:30pm MUSIC FOR FILM (Audio, Mixing, Composing and Soundscapes) 3-4pm EDITING FOR FILM with Dana McCoy FRIDAY August 8th 10am-1pm SMARTPHONE FILMMAKING with Claude Kerven (recommended for teens) 1:30-4:30pm DOC SHORTS with Lise King (recommended for teens)
