My guest in none other than Daniele Bolelli, the host of the popular podcast "History on Fire" captured beautifully by its tagline: Whether you like history or not, if you care about bravery, wisdom, passion, larger than life characters and some of the most emotionally intense moments in human experience, Let"s set History on Fire. In this episode we talk a bit about history but probably more about the present moment, and Daniele"s insights on the dysfunction of social discourse and political process in America. Daniele Bolelli is an Italian-American writer, martial artist, and university professor, and an accomplished exponent of all three. He is known for his work in the fields of history and philosophy. He is a year older than me, he comes from a family of artists and intellectuals.
