With hate-motivated violence seemingly all around us, Kentucky Humanities is working to help educators combat hate-motivated violence promote civic engagement, social cohesion, and cross-cultural understanding in their classrooms. Lockington joins Kathleen Pool and host Bill Goodman to preview the the "Safe Students, Empowered Educators" workshop, which is coming up on February 3rd in Lexington and tell you how you can get involved! This day-long workshop offers the opportunity to reflect on the diversity of experiences and perspectives and explore the history of prejudice and efforts to create a more just society.
