On this episode, Derek sits with Michael Hingson.  Michael is a Survivor of the September 11th, 2001 Attack on the World Trade Center and also a Motivational Speaker.  I asked him to come on the show as part of my “Derek Duvall Show 9/11 Outreach Project”.  Blinded at birth, Michael’s story of how he was helped out of the burning North Tower with the aid of his sight dog, Roselle became world famous, landing him on such shows as Larry King Live.  Michael will discuss his upbringing and how he overcame his disability, how he and Roselle came to work at the World Trade Center, and then we will discuss the Attack on the World Trade Center. We then discuss his post 9/11 career in which he turned to writing, publishing the New York Times bestseller, “Thunder Dog: The True Story of A Blind Man, His Guide Dog and the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero”.  Michael is also a world famous keynote speaker, travelling all over the globe speaking about leadership and telling his 9/11 story.
