Today I am joined by Jodie, Zoe and Fin of the Melancholic Rock band, Mirrors, from Cork! Mirrors blend raw energy with Irish anxieties through bold, compelling music. Drawing inspiration from The Cranberries, Mazzy Star and Just Mustard, their sound fuses Celtic rock and melancholic, shoegaze-laced textures. For this episode, I will be chatting with the band about the two things mainly, with the first being the fantastic achievement that is the band being longlisted as part of the emerging talent competition to play Glastonbury this year. Secondly, and the primary focus of the episode, is the band's brilliant brand new single 'Drowning', which was released today and was recorded with Wayfield records. The single also has an accompanying music video that was also released today and was directed and edited by Katelyn Leahy.
