Today I am joined on the podcast by Sofia Sourianou, lead guitarist and founder of Deathbloom! Deathbloom is a four-piece "dreamo" girl band hailing from Manchester, UK. I was fortunate enough to catch this band open for Worn Out at their first UK headliner last month and have been an avid fan since. Their unique blend of Shoegaze, ethereal, dreamy soundscapes with metal and hardcore influences leads to an impressively dynamic and immersive sound. I'll be chatting with Sofia about how the band began, their brilliant EP, 'Ophelia Sees', which was released last year, being a girl band in a male dominated scene and the very exciting plans the band has in store for 2025.
