Today I speak with Jose Arnal, a senior PhD student at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies. His research focusses on space weather and data assimilation techniques to better predict the flow properties of the solar wind. We talk about the recent CMEs (which caused the Northern Lights), solar activity, and common techniques to model these events. Enjoy!
