Ep 33 Collin Hughes Shares about Losing his Granddaughter and the Pain of Suicide
Trigger Warning: We talk about suicide, attempted and finalized. I spoke to Collin about the Tragic loss of his teenage granddaughter, and how he now has created a website with resources and lots of love to reach out to those in need of support. Collin grew up with three dreams, to be a cowboy, a pilot, and an actor. He rode bulls for 18 years and competed with some of the great legends in the sport of rodeo. He is now a retired airline pilot and a voice actor. He goes after what he wants. What he wants now is to use his public speaking skills to advocate for suicide awareness. This desire came on June 10, 2022, when he received the news of his granddaughter taking her own life.
