In psychologically safe workplaces, people feel safe voicing their opinions about conflict and mistakes-without the fear of negative consequences. Leaders need to be brave-brave enough to invite open and honest feedback. Leaders need to hear what’s really going on, so dysfunctional and unhealthy patterns can be interrupted and problems can be solved.   But only when the most vulnerable team members, those with the most intersecting marginalized identities, feel free enough to express their thoughts and feelings, is an organization psychologically safe enough for everyone to thrive. In this episode, Pasha talks about the cultural transformation that occurs when you intend to create psychologically safe spaces. She also talks about the term "safe space" and how we can never guarantee safety for all. Finally, she offers a framework to build "psychological safety nets" through the lens of intersectionality and inclusion.  Please reach out to Pasha if you would like to hire her as a coach, consultant, or speaker at pasha@pashamarlowe.com  She looks forward to helping you.  Support the show HIRE PASHA to SPEAK at your next training event or conference.
