The left cares about power and control, but the right has tried to put principle and ideology ahead of actually gaining and using power. This has put conservatives on the losing side of politics for more than a century. Now, leftism is the default setting for society, all of the country's institutions, corporations, and power structures. It's time for conservatives to stop letting their ideology get in the way of gaining power and defeating the left.
