Our guest on today’s program has written the introduction to a reissue of an astonishingly good book that explores all of this, written by Jack Kerouac’s daughter Jan.  Amanda Fortini is an American magazine writer and Substacker. She’s a columnist at County Highway and a frequent contributor to T: The New York Times Style Magazine. She’s joins me to talk about the 1981 novel Baby Driver by Jan Kerouac.
