Eve emphatically insisted upon this weeks movie which neither of us had seen before - The Birds (1963) Melanie crosses paths with a dashing lawyer Mitch, following out to a the sleepy lake town of Bodega Bay. The lovers flirt tentatively but eventually cannot hold back as infatuation grows. But their love is not the only thing taking flight. The chickens have stopped eating, the gulls are swooping down to peck at passers by and the crows flock in numbers unheard off.
