This is an Encore Presentation of my January 2024 interview with Randy Brecker, one of the greatest trumpet players of this generation. His incredible work runs the gamut from Blood Sweat & Tears, where he was an original member, to The Brecker Brothers, the band that he formed with his brother Michael, to his work with a Who’s Who of artists including these one-name wonders: Clapton, Springsteen, Elton, Aretha, Tina, Bette, Chaka, Carly and Jaco.
