Embracing Uncertainty and Change in Midlife - Guest Expert Beverly Willett

Beverly Willett is the author of “Disassembly Required: A Memoir of Midlife Resurrection,”  a June 2022 pick by the world’s largest book club and nominated for Georgia Author of the year. From rural schoolgirl, to big city entertainment lawyer, to stay-at-home mom, securely ensconced in a fashionable part of Brooklyn, Beverly Willett achieved the American Dream. And then it came crashing down. But as she reluctantly put her dream house for sale, surrendering her hopes for a life that hadn’t turned out the way she imagined, the world opened back up. And Willett leapt toward it, embracing uncertainty. Kirkus Reviews called her memoir a “triumphant journey to new beginnings.” Willett has also written for the nation’s top publications including The New York Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, AARP Magazine, The Guardian, and more.
