Welcome to Take 1 of Hip-Hop For Change! Among his many roles, Khafre Jay is a change-maker, community organizer, nonprofit worker, hip-hop artist, and the best father.  As a Bay Area activist fighting for racial and socioeconomic justice, he empowers community members to use their voices and resist inequality structures—and he essentially does so through Hip Hop organizing. His passions for music, grassroots solutions, and community justice drove him to create the nonprofit Hip Hop For Change, which utilizes hip-hop to break down barriers between youth and justice issues that affect their lives and communities. Tammy is the founder and CEO of PCQ Consulting. Tammy consults with domestic and international companies to help them improve their culture and develop sustainable DEI initiatives driven first by the culture that supports diverse candidates. Have you ever wondered how hip-hop began? Fact check: three companies own 90% of our culture!
