That doesn't mean that Believers should disassociate ourselves from others....just that we should NOT act like them. But when social media and other platforms keep us consistently tied to others who may think and believe differently than us, it's up to US to know when and how we must DISCONNECT, or unplug, ourselves from such people and from such worldly thinking and living.
