Dallas Brodie was kicked out of the BC Conservatives for telling the truth

In May 2021, the CBC ⁠reported⁠ that the remains of⁠ 215 children⁠ had been discovered at the former site of the Kamloops Indian Residential School in British Columbia. More such ‘⁠discoveries⁠’ at other former residential schools followed. While it is true that terrible things happened at residential schools, the headlines about these supposed “mass graves” ⁠were not⁠. No remains had been discovered. There was no excavation. When MLA Dallas Brodie pointed out that the story was unfounded, BC Conservative Party leader, John Rustad, ⁠kicked her out ⁠of caucus.
