Being intentional on putting things together or taking them apart" I"m Marcus, a "communication coach" for parents of preteens. I help business professionals who are parents of 10 to 14 year olds effectively show up and connect with their preteen during these key formative years, in order to secure a relationship that lasts beyond a lifetime. As a former missionary and high school English teacher, over my 15+ year career, l"ve: • Worked with learners from 20+ countries as a teacher and mentor. This work experience has given me a deep insight into how young people relate to their parents, family, and our world. • Founded a growing "book community", "Putting Parenting Books into Action", that helps parents show up for their preteens and connect with similar parents who share their experiences. • Authored "Inspire Life Through Words Series", a published set of personal inspirational poetry intended to create well-being. i Just for Fun On a lighter note, when I"m not deep in conversations with "present" parents or teens, I"m Latin dancing (Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba) and moving my body through Crossfit and other sports.
