Cleopatra Saved My Life – with Michael Seaver, Leadership Coach
In this episode, I'm talking with Michael Seaver, an executive coach, leadership consultant, author and public speaker who focuses on unlocking human potential, helping you uncover your most authentic self and define your life's purpose. Raised on a farm in a small town in Michigan, Michael started working in the family business at the age of 12. When he got married and moved away to Arizona it certainly helped him to broaden his horizons and develop plenty of business and people skills, but also set him up with a number of challenges and created a lot of stress. Eventually, when his marriage fell apart, Michael went through a state of despair and depression to the point that he was giving serious consideration as to why he was on this planet. However, a bizarre event involving his cat, Cleopatra, helped him to turn his whole life around, setting him on his journey to understand potential and purpose. In our conversation, we cover such topics as: how we can take our darkest moments and turn them into opportunities for growth; how being still and trusting in yourself will lead you to the answers you seek; and why stepping into nature can instantly reduce stress and anxiety. Ultimately, the secret to happiness and a life of joy is about becoming the person that you needed when you were younger.
