Married 34 years to wife Amanda, they have one adult son Caleb who is a recent graduate of Abilene Christian University.  Dr. Lawrence is originally from Virginia but now resides in Texas.  He earned his undergraduate degree from James Madison University and began his career as a teacher and coach. Calvin holds a master’s degree from Texas Christian University, and a post master’s in administration from Texas Woman’s University.  He also earned his doctorate while in Texas at Baylor University. Dr. Calvin has over 41 years of proven experience and leadership at all levels.  He is currently serving as the CEO of Calvinlawrencespeaks, where he engages all types of audiences in motivation, diversity and leadership practices.
