
Billy Chrestman Proud Boy Former Felon political activist shares his story | HLJ EP338
Joining us is Billy Chrestman who was sentenced to prison after he pleaded guilty to two felonies related to his actions during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. According to court documents, Chrestman, a second-degree member of the Proud Boys in the organization's Kansas City chapter, made plans with other members of the group to travel to Washington, D.C., to, among other things, show their support for then-President Trump and protest Congress' certification of the Electoral College vote. Billy, was sentenced to 55 months in prison, 36 months of supervised release, and ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution by U.S. District Court Judge Timothy J. Kelly.
