Eddie Howe's trophy-winning Mags are on the brink of returning to the Champions League next season after a lightning start and a thunderous finish provided emphatic bookends to a nervy bit in between. The final result was 2-0, at least according to most reliable judges, and with two games to go, it's difficult to see how Newcastle can lose three places in the league. In fact with a trip to Arsenal next, might we be looking up instead!
