Balans Spa Founder Marie Aspling

Marie Aspling was born in Africa, raised in Sweden, and has been a resident of Boston since 2004. In 2010 she opened Balans ("balance" in Swedish), with the mission to reform the health and wellness industry. With her MS degree in Biomedical Science, and after two years into her PhD in Stem Cell research she left her position to change career path. After observing so many health issues, and with a heart in health, she was determined to dedicate her life to inspire for a healthier lifestyle. Marie's mission is to empower individuals with self-care therapies to support their health and wellbeing.
