Author Tema Banner

Tema Banner is the first author I’ve interviewed who hasn’t yet been published, although I’m sure it won’t be long. Her novel, Book One of her series Daughters of the King, is titled The Weaver’s Dream. It took second place in the 2023 Blue Ridge Christian Writer’s Conference Foundation Award for pre-published authors.   It was a thrill for me to talk to Tema about this book and what she has planned for other novels in this series. But tragedy strikes with the death of her husband. Tirzah finds herself separated from her son and sold into slavery. When her efforts at escape fail, she questions whether God cares for her or has turned His back. Darien has one goal: to find those responsible for the murder of his wife and children. When his path crosses that of a Hebrew slave, he wants to ignore her plight; but a dream from an unknown God changes his mind. Tirzah’s presence in his home brings evil powers and family dissension to the boiling point.
