Assange is expected to plead guilty to a single espionage charge in a court appearance on a tiny US-controlled Pacific island and prosecutors will seek a sentence equivalent to time served. US officials were pursuing the Australian over charges related to a huge disclosure of secret files in 2010, which they said put lives in danger. But is he a hero or villain?
