Ara Dinkjian is a master of the oud, an ancient Middle Eastern fretless lute. Ara is of Armenian descent. He and his band, Night Ark, have recorded four CDs and given concerts in 24 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His compositions have been recorded by various singers in 16 different languages.
