The 1950s ushered in a new style of music - “Rock and Roll”. And there was no one bigger or better than Elvis Presley. You could argue he became the world’s first superstar, and for a time, he was the undisputed King of Rock and Roll. Then, in 1964, four British lads from Liverpool changed everything when they landed in New York City, and turned the world on its head. The Beatles performance on The Ed Sullivan show in 1964 changed the musical landscape forever. And Elvis Presley certainly took notice. A chance for them to meet seemed like destiny. " When Elvis Met The Beatles" at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit Maine is the world premiere musical telling that historical story.  Actor Daniel Durston, who portrays Elvis, joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to talk about The Beatles and Elvis.
