A Conversation with Zack Ellis, Founder & CEO, TheirStory
In today’s episode, Matthew Ismail, a Conference Director and Editor in Chief of the Charleston Briefings, talks with Zack Ellis, Founder and CEO of TheirStory. Zack initially created TheirStory, an oral history recording and presentation platform, to allow his family members to record and share their life stories. Yet, the more videos he recorded with ever more people, Zack realized that the logistics of recording, preserving, indexing, searching and using such video content for large groups was way too complicated. He wanted to offer a service that would both simplify and enrich the process of recording and sharing our collective memories. This mission expanded into TheirStory, allowing communities that wish to preserve their collective experiences and memories to record, index, use and share them effectively and easily.
