60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday: Alphabetize Your Splendid YOU-ness
Hello to you listening in Honolulu, Hawai’i! Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories from Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday and your host, Diane Wyzga. Let’s take a break from the news of the day and celebrate who we are in an alphabetical way. This little exercise might take some courage and humor the first time around. Day by day it will become more familiar and fun! Guaranteed! Stand in front of a mirror, see your face and look directly into your eyes. Pause for a moment and breathe in this fact: Never before and never again will there ever be another you. In all of time and space YOU are the only YOU. Still gazing into your eyes say “I am” out loud and follow that with a quality, virtue, gift, trait and so on that makes you splendidly YOU beginning with the letter A and going as far down the alphabet as you can go today. For example: I am Affectionate, Brilliant, Curious, Devoted.... You get the picture! Give it a go every day until you get to Z. It’s a great pick-me-up Story Prompt: What was that like? How did it feel? Where and when will you do it again? Write that story! And thank you for playing along. You're always welcome: "Come for the stories - Stay for the magic!" Speaking of magic, I hope you’ll subscribe, share a 5-star rating and nice review on your social media or podcast channel of choice, bring your friends and rellies, and join us!
