From the American Heart Association, we learn about keeping our kids safe by knowing CPR! Dr. Lila O'Mahony is an emergency physician at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma and has witnessed cardiac arrest in children. Some are related to sports, and with summer and love of the water, it's another experience where a cardiac arrest can happen. Jennifer and Charlie DiBona's young son, Miles, suffered a cardiac event, and their awareness and quickly calling 911 made the difference between life and death.
