50. Argumentation in the curriculum and misinformation in science - Prof. Jonathan Osborne
In this ‘half century’ edition of the ‘view from the lab’ podcast I talk to Professor Jonathan Osborne, the Kamalachari Professor of Science Education and Emeritus at the Graduate School of Education, University of Stanford, California. In our conversation we look back on Jonathan’s career in science education from Physics teacher to teacher trainer and science education academic. Jonathan has worked on many high-profile reports and initiatives and has been an influential member on the international PISA test committee for several years. More recently he has been working on challenging the prevalence of misinformation in science in our digital world and devising approaches to help young people spot this misleading information.
