A California native, she earned her undergraduate degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and a Master in Health Services Administration (MHSA) at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine in Florida . Following dental school, Dr. Muntean completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency and an Implant Fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Her dedication to comprehensive patient care and implantology has been a hallmark of her clinical practice . In 2022, Dr. Muntean made history by becoming the first full-time female dentist at the VA St. Louis Healthcare System.
