256: Sanity Summer Series: Themed Days to Keep Kids Engaged
Send us a text In this solo episode of Call Me CEO, host Camille Walker shares one of her favorite sanity-saving strategies for summer—creating themed days of the week to help keep things fun and predictable for both you and your kids. If you’ve ever heard “What are we doing today?” for the hundredth time before 9 a.m., this one’s for you. Camille walks through five simple but creative day themes that can bring structure without feeling rigid:Make it Monday – craft, build, bake, or create togetherTry it Tuesday – check out a new park, recipe, or local adventureWater Wednesday – cool down with sprinklers, splash pads, or a DIY car washThoughtful Thursday – teach kindness with simple service or gratitude activitiesFree-for-All Friday – let the kids take the lead and enjoy a chill day on their terms This approach gives your week a rhythm that kids can look forward to and participate in. Plus, it takes some of the mental load off of you as a mom trying to fill those long summer days. Camille also encourages listeners to customize the themes to fit their own family vibe and share their favorite ideas online! Themed summer days have been one of my favorite ways to keep summer manageable, intentional, and most importantly—fun. Whether you follow this exact model or create your own, I hope this gives you a framework that brings a little more peace and play to your home. And if you have your own fun theme ideas, I’d love to hear them! Come say hi on Instagram @CallMeCEOPodcast or drop me a note over at CamilleWalker.co. Also—don’t forget! Our Mom In Mind Summit is coming this September. If you’re a mom navigating the balance of home, life, and business, you won’t want to miss it.
