206. Navigating Motherhood: Surrender, Identity Deaths & Finding Alignment
Eight and a half months in, and I still feel like I’m getting used to the words “I’m a mom”. The early months were full of awe and magic, but then, around three months in, the emotions hit. Hard. Sadness, rage, frustration, loneliness. I felt like I was unraveling. Motherhood wasn’t just about caring for a baby—it was bringing up everything in me that needed healing. The old ways I navigated life? They didn’t work anymore. And for a while, that felt very disorienting. In this episode, I’m sharing what that journey has looked like—the unraveling, the rebuilding, the moments of peace in between. In this episode, we dive into: ✧ How motherhood brings up unprocessed emotions and old patterns ✧ The tug-of-war between motherhood, self, and relationships ✧ Overthinking, second-guessing, and learning to just let it be all good ✧ Moving through the death of your old identity ✧ Finding alignment when you don’t have the time or space you once did ✧ The tangible aspects of motherhood: breastfeeding, solids, etc. ✧ Releasing the struggle and sacrifice narrative If you’re in the thick of it, wondering if you’ll ever feel like you again—I see you. You’re not breaking. You’re just unfolding.
