She is a member of Forte, a cadre of vetted family advisors within the Family Wealth Alliance, a family office network that is part of financial giant Charles Schwab.
Thomasina was the first Family Dynamics Consultant Wells Fargo Private Bank hired to come in-house and play a leadership role in developing a new service offering to help its ultra-high net worth clients navigate generational wealth transitions. Her work at the bank also included training wealth advisors to better understand “the family side” of family wealth.
Thomasina is the creator of The FEW: Family Enterprise Women™, an emerging training, coaching, and community experience for women in enterprising families.
She has been profiled on NASDAQ and Thrive Global and has published articles for Enterprising Women magazine and The National Association of Women Business Owners, among others.
Prior to her work with families, Thomasina was a philanthropy strategist at the nation's second largest foundation.
Her first career was as a lawyer, and she continues to be a member of The Florida Bar. Thomasina became a partner in one of Florida’s largest law firms in only three years and was recognized as one of the Top 250 Lawyers in South Florida – one of only 14 women and the only Black attorney to receive this acknowledgement. The Miami-Dade County Commission named a day in her honor in recognition of her pro bono legal work in landmark civil rights cases, and a local bar association has honored her with its “Living Legend” Award.
Thomasina serves on the Advisory Board of the Purposeful Planning Institute, a multi-disciplinary learning community of family advisors. She also serves on the Board of SIY Global, a leadership development training company whose core science-based programs originated inside of Google.
