Ep. 172 - Josh Heneveld - Enough for today!

Josh has been married for 22 years, and the story with his wife stretches all the way back to when they met at church at age 10. God has blessed them with four amazing kids, and together they have stayed deeply involved in their church community.  Josh shares about life, selling real estate,  buying businesses and stewarding ministry assets with excellence. At the end of the day, his ministry—both as a family and individually—is simple: help people figure out who God is, who they are, and how to walk in the fullness of their purpose. Learning the power of “Extreme Ownership”. Whether it’s leading at home, growing in faith, or building something in the business world, everything starts with taking responsibility. Being a great husband and father, who models the gospel, teaches victory over sin, and shows what it means to walk with a “perspective of faith.”  Life after 40 has made this even clearer. Every day begins best with gratitude, acknowledging that God gives “enough for today,” and trusting Him with the rest. 🙏 His marriage continues to be one of his greatest callings… learning to make more space for his wife—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. Instead of focusing on demands, expectations, or needs, learning to take it all to the Lord first. The goal is simple: win your spouse daily. A better marriage isn’t found in wishing for change; it’s found in taking ownership, stopping the excuses, and choosing love on purpose. James 1:5 is a great reminder: “if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God”—so that’s become a regular habit. Whether leading his home, managing finances as a fiduciary, or discerning God’s agenda for the day, he’s learned to “double-click” on what matters: faith, humility, and obedience. Everything he wants to build—business, ministry, marriage, and legacy—flows from that posture before the Lord.
