My younger brother Zac joins me for the first time this week as we take a look at the horror comedy - Renfield (2023) After centuries of servitude to his Master, Count Dracula (Nicolas Cage), Renfield (Nicolas Hoult) realizes that immortality means nothing if you've no one to share it with. With this revelation he decides that he wants a normal life and starts seeking help to pull apart from his toxic relationship to Dracula. On the way he becomes embroiled in a gang war where corrupt cops and city officials work with the mob to keep the status quo - there's one cop who refuses to be apart of this, Rebecca Quincy (Akwafina), but when the mob and Dracula meet it's only a matter of time before all hell breaks loose.
